The Bacon of the Month box contains approximately 3 pounds of ultra premium, artisan, slow-cured, handcrafted, hardwood smoked thick cut bacon, as ~1 pound packs of three different varieties. Each box includes one pack of our signature black pepper bacon and the other two packs rotate on a regular basis.

The August-October batches of bacon include these three varieties to choose from:

  1. Apple Smoked Black Pepper Bacon
  2. Cherry Smoked Simon & Garfunkel Bacon
  3. Hickory Smoked Lemony Pepperit Bacon

      Our bacon is sent to you fresh, uncooked, and never frozen via two-three day shipping!

      Our bacon can be stored at room temperature for up to 5 days, but should be refrigerated after opening.

      Meat Options and Ingredients

      You have two choices of meat for our bacon, either Heritage Breed Pork or Wild Boar. All of our Heritage Breed Pork Bacon is made from heritage breed pigs, either Berkshire or Duroc. All of our Wild Boar Bacon is made from Russian Razor Back Wild Boar caught in the wild, not farm raised feral pigs.

      • Duroc is noted for generally producing a leaner, meatier cut of pork.
      • Berkshire is noted for generally producing a slightly fattier, marbled cut of pork that has a creamy texture and flavor profile that sets it apart from store bought pork.
      • Wild Boar is noted for being generally leaner and has a stronger, meatier flavor than our heritage breed pork.

      You get to select what type of meat your bacon is made with!
